Our mission

We fuse satellite observations — thermal imaging, radar altimetry, optical water quality — with buoys, gauges, and community reports to watch lake temperature, water levels, algal blooms, and ice, continuously and openly.

🔬 Understand

Physics-based lake models turn observations into forecasts: how warm the water will be, when a bloom is forming, when ice becomes unsafe. We publish our skill honestly, so you always know how much to trust a number.

🤝 Steward

Healthy lakes need informed communities. We give citizens, anglers, paddlers, and researchers the same live picture — because responsible stewardship starts with seeing what's happening.

Every six hours, our pipeline ingests fresh satellite scenes and weather forecasts, runs lake physics models, and publishes water temperature, reservoir levels, recreation conditions, bloom risk, and ice status for the lakes we monitor. In the app you can arrange it all into dashboards of your own.
